Have you contacted ERA to inquire about your issues? They are very adament about any customer problems, or issues that you might have.
As we know, they are one of the best out there and are always willing to help out.

I would concur with Roger's advice; give Doug and/or Bob a call. Oft times (to paraphrase) a simple "phone call in time will save nine."

Doug doesn't "do" e-mail. He's the one to talk to first.

Default Wheel Alignment

Godfather,

Congratulations on getting on the road. I look forward to that day. My ERA kit #768 is almost ready to be shipped. I have been reading about some issues that have me very concerned. #747 & 757 are having issues with the front tire location within the wheelwells. Did you have any of these issues.

Thank you,
Clyde

Guys ... I would like to clarify what appears to be an impression that I am having major problems with front tire location in the wheel wells/inner fender lip . I decided to go with the Avon 245-60/15 front tires and had ERA run a check to see if there would be any interference issues on my 427 SC with those tires . I was told that there might be some interference with the inner lower lip on a full left turn at full suspension droop on the driver`s side .... which there is , but not a huge problem . I get a full turn to the left of the steering wheel before the tire contacts the inner lip . I feel that if I forced it , it might go the rest of the way ... but I won`t . If you look at the tire relationship to the wheel opening closely ( at least on mine ) at full suspension droop ( my car isn`t on the ground yet ), the tire is at the widest point on the circumference . I feel that when the engine is in the car , suspension and alignment set , that the wheels may go far enough into the wheel cutout due the weight , that I may clear without any surgery to the lip .... but again , I knew this going into it as I really wanted to use the 245 front tires . If the problem still exists , then I will just trim the inner lip .
There are no clearance issues with a right turn and I have about 1/8" between the tire and the inner lip on the passenger side .... which will increase when the car is on the ground .
I really can`t think of any circumstance where I will have the suspension at full droop and full left turn while driving .... or if I do , I`m probably in deep you know what .
