Default 2112 needs a new home

Well, it seems that I too am a victim of this economy. Not wanting to go into all the details, but the time has come for me to let go of 2112. I built this car to have fun at the track and on the street. The motor has been run in for 30 plus minutes, and the fluids have been topped off. The carb needs to tuned.

The main paint is cream like which in different light has a gold tinge to it. The numbers were intentionally put on to look as if they were painted on the day of the race.

I am asking 45,000

If interested, please PM me.

Some of the detail stuff is bellow. As it gets a little bit warmer here, I will pull it out of the garage and take some better shots. You can see some of the pictures in my gallery and via the link on the ERA web site.

That breaks my heart. Very sorry to hear that. Best wishes for a quick turnaround in fortune (like today's stock market, if it could only last!).

Take care,

Jeff

Sorry read that this is a result of the current state of our economy, and I know that this has to be tough on you. Your car is just great. Wish I could afford to become the steward of your beautiful car.

Mark.

Marcalan,

Sorry to hear and best wishes for a quick sale. You may want to also post an ad in the "for sale" section in case this thread gets buried. Also consider Cobra Country for additional exposure.

Just curious, what would it cost to duplicate the car new?

marcalan,

Sorry to hear that your car needs a new home ... and you just got the car done! Someone will certainly enjoy all of the attention to detail that went into the build and the great job the folks at ERA did. Hopefully when things turn around, you can get back in the game.

I have a couple of questions about the motor in your car ... sent a PM.

Regards,

- Tim

"Got the Bug", I know that the prices for the kit and components have gone up since I started this car. Needless to say, that I am selling it at a loss, I have all the receipts that will go to the new buyer, which will show that the price is a significant savings over the completed kit.

"tkb289" you have a PM

Nice car. How hard would it be to remove that green stripe and those green numbers? Are they paint or decals?

I think it would be pretty hard. They are painted on and under the clear.

A picture of this car does not do it justice. Once you see it in front of you....it's... an awesome paint job and color scheme. I saw it at ERA some months. Sorry to see it turn over so fast. 45K is a nice price for this car. mike #2115

Default Pictures of 2112 (taken 2/27/08)

weather warmed up today, was able to take some photos. I have had a few questions as to engine pictures. I hope to get an overhead of the engine compartment later.
