Well I went down and took some pics of my seat in my FIA. With the seat mounted where I need it, it has about 32" from the front of the seat to the pedals. But when I move it back all the way I have 38" to the pedals! With this mod and adjusting the pedals forward you shouldn't have any problems. Here are the pics I hope, the first time doing this. I have not finished the seat frames, still mocking them up.
