Default FIA induction

Were the original FIA cars all equiped with Webers? What other systems were used?

Good question... To the best of my knowledge, they all had Webers from Shelby. I wouldn't be surprised if some were converted to 4bbl afterward though. Anyone?

Default intakes for FIA...

I have in my possession a two four intake that was on one of the "Gurney" FIA's that supposedly came on the car. However, since it was a "true" factory racer for Dan and was not for a typical customer this might have been the only one. It was later changed at Sebring where I purchased it. It's a sand cast FORD item with the firing order cast into it and will not fit a typical set of 289 heads. It was for a set of aluminum heads that I don't have, so it's really worthless, but I know who's car it was on. So at least one came with 2-4 set up, and don't know if there are docs to not this, only pics. It's kinda like the FOYT compression checker I have for his OHC Ford in 1966.

Default fia valve covers

Okay which valve covers are correct? I have the Branda cat. and they sell 289 hi-po covers that look like the correct ones I have seen in pictures (kinda smooth and rounded). My guess is these covers are right and the "COBRA powered by Ford" covers are for the Shelby mustangs. Right?

I'm pretty sure that the covers on this car are correct. Otherwise, Phil has made a very uncharacteristic mistake.
