Seat padding and track options

I sat in Peter P.'s clone car and his seat was as soft as a cloud. My barcalounger wasn't as soft and comfy as his seat -- the only problem was that I looked right over the top of his windshield. To answer your question, the seat is not bad at all. It is not as comfy as Peter's, but your butt is not sore after an hour's drive either. You should listen to Kramer though and make sure you're fitted for a butt-in-seat test. Your height is not in the same place as Kramer's, nor mine. Foot to knee, knee to butt, bent leg butt to the shoulders, it's all different -- how much "padding" you have on your rear (as well as how much padding you have in the seat) will impact how high you sit in the car. But, they did fit me perfectly with the original seats... all 6'4" of me.

This is a street car so the standard seat is my choice. Unfortunately, work and distance this Fall prevent my making a visit - until possibly just before delivery which would be too late. That was one reason I was hoping someone was on here from the Little Rock area.

Sounds like the reduced padding is still the safe way to go. I can always shim the seat up slightly if necessary. I guess I could also sit against a wall and measure the height to the top of my head and see if that has any relevance to ERA's prior experience - but I doubt it.
