Default Hood hinges on my new cobra, new to me.. Questions

Hi guys, I got my car home sat. Paperwork says mk3 but the hood hinge setup is wonky at best. 2 small hinges in the center of the hood then 2 struts or gas shocks on the sides. The hood wont stay up without a prop rod, Knew this before hand, and it has no hood locks. So??? what setup is on the car? All paperwork says mk3 kit built in 2006 I think, but what I'm reading is a mk 2 hinge located in the center of the hood??? Very flimsy setup at best. Also where and any pics of how to install the hood locks and where to get them? There is no metal on the area where the locks would catch. ?? Help. Thanks, Mike

I would contact Factory Five techs 508 291-3443. If you have the FFR serial number they will be able to tell you what you have MkII, MkIII, or Mk 3.1. They should be able to sell you or tell you where to go, so you get what you need.

Gas shocks need replacing after time. Get weak.
