Default FFR Rear Coliovers

I've just spent a couple of hours today trying to adjust the rear ride height with the cut down mustang 5.0 coil springs -- not a fun or easy thing, at least for me. So, is there an option to remove the 5.0 spring and shock and replace it with a coilover other than using the $600 option from FFR?

There was a group purchase over at ffcobra.com very recently on some Pro-Shocks setup for the FFR. The price was much less than the shocks from FFR. I suggest you go there and do a search. There were also, par tnumbers listed with the correct valving.

I may be wrong but here's an idea...I would think since the majority of the stuff on the FFR cars is designed around the fox mustang, just about any suspension component/manufacturer of parts for a fox should work on the car. For example, a Maximum Motorsports rear coil over conversion, etc...

Here's my set-up, about $300 from Speedwaymotors. I fabricated my own mounts.

Both I with my B&B and Phil Manro with his ffr went with a setup from VPM http://www.vintageperformancemotorcars.com/

I can honestly it was the one mod that made the most differance it the cars overall performance It even took away the wheel hop problem I had

The best $ I spent so far. Plus Craigs a great guy to work with.
