Question Rear tire size

Anybody know the largest size tire I will be able to fit on the rear of a cobra? I thought I saw one in the showroom with 335/50x17". That is plenty wide enough, but are there major modifications required? I plan to get the IRS option and I was told you could order the axles for pin drive and they are a little narrower for deep dish wheels?

Any info here would help me make some decisions before I place the order.

Thanks,

Tom

On the Roadster, the largest tire with out major mods is a 315/35/17. The Coupe can use a 335/35/17.

On a spec racer, the maximum realistic size is 295 or 305 (that's pushing it) but with a couple small frame mods, you can fit any size you want really. I can send some photos of the cuts and replacement points for you if you'd like.
