Default Intake manifold plug - what is this for? (noob question)
Ok, I'm sure some of you will get some chuckles out of this. There is a screw-in plug on my intake manifold for my 427 FE near the distributor. I have included 3 pics. What is it for?

It is leaking a little bit and I was planning on pulling it out, putting some teflon tape on it and putting it back in to stop the leak.
