FE block casting question

I think the engine is a 487. It has a 4.25 stroke with a 6.7 inch rod. That gives a pretty nice rod angle, much better than the 427 windsor kits. I hope it will be a little easier on the walls. It is about a 10.2 to 1 compression ratio.

dlampe Dean are there any letters after the c3ae?? The block was cast in 63. It's a 427 block. It's a top oiler. as far as over boring, .030 is the max safety without sonic testing the cylinder walls for thin spots. They did also have a 65 block with the same C3ae- letter on a block. I think you know who to talk to about this, they live and own a race track in Hastings??? Hint, Hint!!! Rick L. Ps seen if you can find any other motors on the flat plate area of the block. I think it's in the left front corner bottom.
