I ordered the HR-3, fully synthetic. I paid 9.99 a quart on Amazon and bought 10 quarts. It better be some kick a$$ stuff

Like I said earlier, it's back to good ol' Mobil 1 15w/50 after this junk's used up.

ouch.....100 bucks for 10 quarts...

the Brad Penn states partial synthetic....honestly that statement seems like being partially pregnant....but i'm sure there is some technical reason why it's stated like that.

did some machining on parts for Gibbs, they don't seem to care what stuff costs, kinda like drunken sailors in my opinion, so i base the price they charge for oil on, not quality being better, but maybe on total control of the product. since there are i think only two refineries in this country doing motor oils, one being the brad penn refinery, when it comes right down to it is the joe gibbs really any different or better than the Brad Penn? who knows....opinion and preference i think rules in the end

Just buy whatever your favorite oil is regardless of the ZDDP content and add the ZDDP yourself. Then you get the best of both worlds, . . . your favorite oil, AND ZDDP.

Eastwood's ZDDP Oil Additive 4 oz.
