I have a 7AL box with the MSD billet distributor for the FE series engine. No input needed from the vacuum lines as there is no vacuum advance in the distributor. No problem with the vacuum secondaries on the carbs. Looks good, works fine, lasts a long time.

Tony,

Thanks for the reply. My bro and I have been busy working on the motor in what little spare time we've had. Funny you should mention Athen's as we had planned to make it this Saturday. We need to take some pics of your oil plumbing as we are nearly finished. See you soon.

Regards,

John

P.S. We did make it out to Sears Point a few weeks ago. Got some good pics of you. Your car looked great out there.

John:

I also am using the MSD Pro-Billet distributor (I believe the only one made for FE's by MSD) and their 6AL box. Although the 7 series boxes work on the street, they are overkill and are designed to be used for drag racing. Check out their website below:

Some of us like overkill. As "ol' Shel hisownself" used to say: "Way too much is just enough."
