Well, I finally got her home. I took her out for a spin. WOW! The amount of power on tap is indescribable, and that's with the shoe off and the pinky toe on the throttle.
It took a good amount of work:
Tom Lucas' (FE Specialties) 511 FE
Fitting and mounting the dual Paxtons (CAD design)
Beefed up fuel delivery
Moving the brake lines
The gauge cluster
a few tricks up Tom's sleeve...
...and it all fit under the stock hood (just a little messaging of the scoop hole)!
Tom did it all BTW.
It's actually very streetable, just have to be cautious not to sneeze or have restless leg syndrome.
The, shall we say, passing power, is quite a treat.

Let me know when you're in LA, Chas. I'm taking you for a ride.

There's a new pic in my album, btw.

Will there be some mags joining the whole ensemble?

That is super-cool. How does it feel at low speed when you're just, say, pulling out of the driveway and heading down the street? Can you ease out in to traffic, or does it require a completely different driving style?

You know, Tom should get more attention on here. He's really in the top rank of builders and his work should be better known. Tell him I said so.
Dude-I warn you that I visit family 400 miles north. When I do, you are getting a shout.
PS-more pictures.
