Low Profile Oil Pan
Does anyone have a source for a Low Profile Steel Oil Pan for a 428? I need to alter my pan to street clearence. I have a T-shaped cast aluminium oil pan that is approx 8 1/2" from gasket to drain plug. I need a steel pan that is about 6 1/2 " or 7" gasket to drain plug. The obvious problem is I have only 2 1/2" clearence when I have my coil overs adjusted down to a reasonable height. If I adjust them up to improve my clearence the body sets to high off the front tires.
What about front spindles for a Mustang II ? Can they be replaced by others that would improve my problem? I am open for suggestions.
Thanks.
