Rodney,
I'm half there with the wheels. I copped a pair of still in the box NOS Halibrands, circa 1980's casting, a few months ago. They're fronts. I'm still trolling for rears.

Oh-man; A Hi-Tech and 700HP.
Only outdone by original 3170 and 800HP.
Near the top of the pecking order around here.
NOT counting non-Ford powered and blown or squeezed---CLEAR ENOUGH??

There are many fine Cobras to be found among our members. I'm often impressed by their presentations.
I appreciate your opinion of mine. I seem to be looking for the next level of thrill now that I'm well into the AARP years! You never know when the 'ride' will be over, and not by choice. We've had several heath challenges in the past 18 months and those issues have encouraged me to enjoy each day.

Ok, I'll take over from Chas seeing how the mandatory questions are yet to be asked...
1) What they flow...?
&
2) When you say super light - how light do you mean? Say in comparison to a regular SCAT or similar.
Nice pics by the way, thanks for sharing.

Brent, the 1980's called and they want their running shoes back.
I wish I had more, but I don't.

ROFL...
Walmart specials baby!
If you need running shoes, that would imply that you run...
Anth, the heads flow about 370 at lift. I think I mentioned the flow numbers in an earlier post here. I will weigh the crank today but I would imagine that we dropped almost 10 lbs off of it. It's considerably lighter when I pick it up.

I'll take you some pics in a bit. There's one here and it's got your name all over it.
There's a good bit of prep work that has to be done, a lot of blending in of oil holes, blending drains, tapping a few holes, etc. My goal is to get that done, cam degreed, and some other clearances checked by Saturday, then drop off the rotating assembly to be balanced early next week. I'm gonna have my crank guy cut a half thou off the rod journals as well.
