Default Chrome pent rocker covers

I am thinking of changing the rocker covers on my FE to the traditional pent-roof chrome types with 427 badges. I know they can leak a bit. But my question:

is there a preferred vendor for these?
In particular I am looking for good quality chrome plating that looks smooth and mirror like, and won't rust - my 'new' garage is pretty damp in the winter.

thanks,
kevin

I got mine from Survival Motorsports and I am very happy with the quality. Blue Thunder makes some really cool Pentroofs with a matte finish as can be seen on the engine behind mine.

Got mine from Tony Branda. Yes, they do seep a bit at the rear corners but pretty easy to periodically clean up. I'm just using standard cork gaskets so could probably do better if it was important enough. You can get them with or without vents. Chrome quality is good. I cut the posts off the 427 badges and affixed them with JB Weld.

I believe Keith Craft sourced mine from the same place. I have had a couple little rust spots develop at the bend to the flanges - apparently while I had it wrapped in plastic and sitting in the garage before installing. And my garage is pretty dry. Since I cleaned them up and waxed them I have not noticed any further spots developing. Keith Craft furnished the emblems with the pins cut off. I stuck them on with dabs of 3M strip caulk. It holds them down very well but I can remove them if I need to. Otherwise no problems.

I got the badges from Finishline. As said in my post above, I cut off the posts and affixed them with JB Weld.

Many thanks. looks like Tony Branda will be getting an order. Hoping the shipping to the UK isn't crazy $$$!

Might just look on this site. I think they make them for everyone and have done so for a long time.
