A few years ago I found an NOS sideoiler in Northern Cal. Talked through it with the guy and even flew up, rented a car and drove to the middle of nowhere to see it. Made the deal, shook hands...the whole bit. Got home and worked out wire transfer and shipping and got the call..."I changed my mind, I'm not selling it". Now that pi$$ed me off! Especially since I hit a deer in the rental car on my way back to the airport!

Originally I was on the hunt for original FE parts as well. And essentially all I found was crap and more crap. I got fed up fairly quickly and decided why the heck would I put original parts in a replica anyway. Made no sense to me, but I wasted time figuring it out.

Yeah, but this one got my attention. Wrapped in plastic and cosmolene, still had tags on it and all paint marks etc. And not a service block...

I was just going to buy it and stash it until someone like Brent came along!

They are still out there, but getting scarce....
