Default FE Headers & Pipes- Opinon on my set

So I've owned SPF751 for a little over a month now and I've been fixing a few things here and there as well as changing a few things up on the car. One thing I'm looking to change is the exhaust- it's way too quiet.

I've done my searching on here and before I make an investment I thought I'd get some opinions on the header/sidepipe combination that is currently on the car. I'm assuming the side pipes are stock SPF, but not sure. I can tell you when I bore scoped them all I can see is a perforated muffler section and that's about it. The headers look really nice and I really don't know how much I'd be gaining by trying to upgrade.

Here are some pics and thank you in advance for any feedback you guys might have.

You could cut the muffler off and weld on a 3" Classic Chamber unit. If you want real loud turn the louvers where they will not scoop the air.

I replaced my 24" ( which is average length ) with a 28". I cut a cut a couple of inches of pipe from the front and rear to keep the tail piece in about the same place.
Oh yea, I turned the louvers to scoop the air to quiet it down. Worked great.
Loud rumble at idle. Quiet enough at hiway speed to easily talk with my passenger.

You will have to get the side pipe recoated or spray them with high temp silver rattle can paint.

I put a pair of the Jones Exhaust mufflers on my SPF about a year ago. They're pretty much the same thing sold by Classic Chambered since their Cobra mufflers are just a glass pack. They are definitely much less restrictive and louder than the stock SPF mufflers. I wasn't looking for louder, but with the 3" core, they certainly are. So far, so good. Here's the link:

Yes,

Those are the standard SPF pipes and muffler. You could do as suggested and change the muffler portion of the side pipe and recoat them. Or look at firefly if you aren't afraid to spend some $
Firefly Stainless Steel performance pipes have been designed

Default Louder?

I would drive it for a while. Take it for some long rides. You may change your mind. I put an ear plug in my left ear on long drives. It gets intense.
