May not be for most of us, but how about engine builders ?
Description
I have 3 race prepared FORD 427 side oiler H/D bare blocks that were used by Village Engine Service out of Houston, Tx. before he died. These are the ribbed H/D screw-in freeze plug type blocks. All were aligned-bored, decked and some have repair sleeves due to thinness of cylinder walls. FORD supplied lots of 427 blocks to VES due to his serious racing in 1969 Mustang Drag Car and blocks were exposed to weather to cure and have sound density tests done on cyl. walls to determine which ones were good enough to run 9000/9500 RPMs out of them. These were serious racing blocks that cost a lot of money and time to determine which ones were durable. Prices were $5000/7500 in their time. Closing out from $2000 to $2500 depending on which one you want. Please be a serious.
Some have sleeves and repairs but all are good to race. Can ship if necessary. NO JUNK Contact FORDMANTED@aol.com thru e-m since I work 2 PT jobs and sleep odd hours or leave phone message.
