Default Erson broken rocker stand

Hello guys
I hoping someone can help me out. I have a set of fe erson rockers that had a broken end-stand, shaft, and thread stud.
Can anyone help with these parts since Erson is no longer making these rockers.

In case no parts are available, any good alternatives out there? I think if I recall correctly T&D need special machine work to the heads. But I working off of memory.

Thanks

T&D recommends stainless roller rockers for street use. Not cheap, but seems to be the way to go. T&D claims their aluminum rockers are designed for race applications--the rockers will fatigue and need to be replaced more frequently than you might want to on a street car.

Lot of misinformation here.

Aluminum rockers work perfectly fine for the street. T&D also makes a street FE rocker set that’s aluminum and will be as close to a bolt on replacement to the Ersons as you’ll probably find. They do not need any head work, they are a bolt on.

Brent,
I'll defer to your knowledge and experience. I'm just passing on what the T&D tech told me:
"We do offer a bolt on set for the Edelbrock head. this is a part number
7022, base price is $1176.00 I would suggest our steel rocker option [for your street application]. This
will add an additional $608.00 to the price. The ratio we offer is a 1.76

Sheldon must have had his wires crossed that day or he was trying to make more money.

Do you know how many FEs are running with those 7022 rockers? Thousands...

Their race rockers that use a common mounting bar setup are also aluminum.

And you could run Ersons on one side and T&D on the other to save a buck.

no wires cross on this one

We ONLY recommend a steel rocker arm for street use. any aluminum rocker arm on the planet has a fatigue life or cycle time to them. just like an aluminum rod at some point it needs to be cycled out. since this is all about cycle time even while a "street" engine is idling at a stop light it is all cycle time. steel however will be basically infinite unless something catastrophic happens to the engine of course

now

if this is a trailer queen that is only running on and off a a trailer then obviously it's not much of an issue

we at T&D are never about making money we are always about the right parts for the job.

if anyone has any questions feel free to call or e-mail us at (775) 884-2292 or Tech@tdmach.com
