FE cooling questions

ERA big block FE cars as a rule (and my car) use the SPAL #30102120 that moves 1918 CFM of air in puller mode. This is touted as handling all but the big "monster" FE engines. https://www.amazon.com/Spal-30102120.../dp/B003PB9RZ0

The Spal 30102120 is a great fan that I used for a number of years. For our 90+ degree days and those times I've been stuck in slow traffic, I decided to add some cfm, and installed this Spal fan #30102113.

Last year I was in a traffic jam that was miles long. 85 degrees ambient temp and I moved less than 2 miles in 25 minutes. The coolant temp never exceeded 90 degrees C.

Although it moves a tornado of air, there are several caveats in the manufacturer's description to consider.

Now, I do have my pusher fans wired in on a supplemental circuit. And they do indeed make a difference when I really, really need it, which I never do unless I was trapped in a really bad, hot, backup, which I never have been. More likely, it would save my miserable butt from a boilover resulting from a failed SPAL motor, or a failed relay, or a blown circuit breaker on my primary puller fan side.
