Default Pump gas 390 build, iron heads, 520hp

It's been a while since I've posted here in Club Cobra but I thought I'd share a recent FE build I did. Not for a Cobra but for my 67 Fairlane. Nothing really exotic, no thin rings, no trick heads, just a detailed build with shelf stocking parts.
Engine is a 390, +.030"= 395ci. C7 block with a factory crank, Scat rods and Icon flat tops, 1/16" rings, 10.0:1 cr. Block got full race prep with all the typical oil mods and Speed Pro 3/4 groove mains, Clevite rods. Heads are C6AE-R heads that got 11/32 x 2.05 intake valve, 1.65 ex with my 45* valve job and a bowl blend. Nothing more. Valve train is Harland Sharp rockers, shafts and end stands shimmed for proper geometry and 3/8" Smith Brother's pushrods with a .040" restrictors. Heads also got .080" restrictors under the stands. Cam is a custom hyd roller, .641/.621 237/248 on 108 with Morel 5325 hyd rollers. Oil pump is the Melling M57B that was blueprinted and an ARP drive shaft and the pan and windage screen are from Canton. Intake is a Ford MR 2x4 that I made some changes to including port matching and milling carb pads even.
Engine made 520hp, 473 #/ft with big 2" headers that I know are hurting the tq.
This pic was with a pair of modified 3310's that proved to be just too big for the engine. Secondaries wouldn't hardly open no matter what we tried. It managed 500hp and 457 #/ft. I did find out in this session that my Daytona Sensors ignition was worth 7hp over the MSD ignition on the dyno.

Second iteration was a pair of 715 cfm carbs I bought from a gentleman who used to work for Ford racing. They were on his 427 TP and were sort of a hybrid center squirter but had progressive secondary linkage so the "squirter" only fed the primaries. Manual secondaries with no acc pump don't work very well below about 3500rpm but they did make more power with all the venturies opening up and feeding the engine. During this session we didn't use the Daytona Sensors ignition so I can say with confidence that there is at least another 7hp as it sits in the car and the smaller headers probably make more tq...but, it is what it is. It's a legitimate 520+ hp pump gas, iron headed, hyd roller 390 that will turn 7K.

Since everyone loves looking at pictures, here are just some random pics of the build.
