Holman-Moody was the US distributor for Tecalemit-Jackson Fuel injection, England, back in the 60's. They were basically fuel injection throttle bodies that were designed to bolt to a weber intake, 48mm IDA. They also made a 52mm "race" throttle body. Because there is no venturi, they should flow about 20-30% better than a 48mm IDA carb. So alot of the set-ups are mounted on weber intakes. It was a constant flow FI system like a hilborn/kinsler, but it had better metering for partial throttle for road racing, as the other fi systems were mainly for drag racing, or basically full throttle or idle although you can get additional bypass valves for partial throttle or "street" driving. The Lucas timed fuel injection came out at about the same time, and I think this is the FI system that proved to be better for road racing as in Can-Am racing.

Holman-Moody made different set-ups, as I know of a marine set-up, 48mm, for a Med Riser. I know a guy that has a set-up made by Holman-Moody with the 52mm race throttle bodies for a tunnel port. I have a 48mm set-up with an intake that has tecalemit jackson cast in it for a 289, that I think was designed for the GT-40 program, although I don't think they were ever used in the cars. I think they were more common in England.

A couple months ago, on e-bay, some guy had an inventory from Holman-Moody, with about 6-8 tecalemit jackson systems that sold for about $4500, with one or two intakes.

Eventually, I want to run mine. You can run it the way it was designed, you can install hilborn type injectors and run it like a hilborn system, or you can convert it to EFI as well.

The crowd was jumping up and down as he stunned the Chevrolet drivers by easily passing the entire field to finish second behind MacDonald's other team Cobra. The Corvette people were completely demoralized."
