Alum. Shelby motor Specs Please

Guys, I would like to know what specs your motors are built to please. I already have the Block and a new Velasco billet crank. (4.25 Stroke) and I have the new Victor single plane 427 manifold. Motor will be pretty much for the street, although I like the pop and crackle of a motor at 12:5 to 1 better. What do you think???

Hope you never plan on taking it on a trip. Where are you going to get gas for it? They also like to run hot, especially in traffic. Is it worth the extra 30 or so hp?

Just my thoughts and being with my buddy that has a big compression motor on the street. He would never do it again.

As a rule of thumb, 1 point drop in compression equals a 4 percent loss in hp. Example: 400 hp at 12.1 dropped to 10.1, should be around 370 hp.
As far as pop and crackle, a cam with 108 degrees lobe centers will give you plenty of that and put most of your power in mid range which is where I
like it. Crossing plug wires will also have the same effect, although not as good
