Don where are you located?
I used an engine builder that has done a great job for me and he is very reasonable. I also, know of several True 428CJ blocks w/standard cranks that have been sonic tested and are ready for the machinist.
If you have watched any of the FE threads you know the trouble you can have with a person that does not know the mods you need to do with a FE block and heads (even if they are aluminium). Clearances are so critical on these engines.
