427FE Water Pump Options

Ok folks, I'm going through the last of my cooling system, decided to replace the unknown water pump currently on my car with something a little more "hefty"...Besides the Edlebrock #8805, what other options are out there for a hi flow water pump?????

I use the Shelby unit which may be an edelbrock anyhow. Nonetheless it has been terrific and have had NO cooling problem at all and I live in HOTLANTA! It costs slightly more than the Edelbrock at @ $180-190 a pop. Best of luck!

Bill, I put in the 8835 (polished FE pump) recently and am pleased with it. Didn't see many other choices out there; although, I'm sure there are.

Bills What are you looking for? Flow kooler sells the same pump for 87.00, is iron though. CSI sells electric pumps for 320.00. Pulls 6.0 amps and lasts for 2000 hours and is rebuildable. Milodon pump is 100.00$. You can get a TRW and add the flat plate to the impeller on the pump for 7.00$ and have a high flow. The kit is in Jeg's and Summit. Have fun Rick Lake
