Question 428 CJ Camshaft .050 Specifications

I know that some of the truck guys had mentioned it before but haven't paid a great deal of attention. I just noted thought that the Crane 801 camshaft appears very similar to the Cobra Jet cam with bigger lift.

Does anyone have any .050 numbers for the factory Cobra Jet camshaft?

I have searched several forums, including this one with no luck.

Could not find it there. In fact I spent several hours on various sites pulled by a google to no avail.

Not as similar as some would have you believe, which was sort of what I thought.

Well, are you going to keep us in the dark or are you going to tell us what they are?

It looks like according to:

http://www.network54.com/Hide/Forum/...eid=1073345094

that the oem ones check "but the OEM cams really checked out around 209°-211°/219°-222°, depending on who was doing the measuring, and valve lift was more in the .475"/.486" range."
