Talking $600.00 FE Cobra engine package!!!

I am offering an all aluminum (colored) FE Cobra engine kit package for the amazingly low price of $600.00!
At last you can stop complaining about the sky-high prices being charged for all aluminum FEs
Parts and price break-down:
1) used 360 FE engine from a 1973 F-150 pick up truck
3) cans engine de-greaser
1) can carb cleaner
3) spray cans of aluminum hi-heat engine paint
1) hack saw and assorted blades (for cutting
all unwanted accessory brackets)
1) set Ford Racing Cobra LeMans valve covers
1) Cobra oval air cleaner kit
1) set Felpro valve cover gaskets

Instructions:

1 Remove engine from shipping pallet
2 pay trucking company's $35.00 truck cleaning charge
( because of the old grease and oil)
3 use spray de-greaser and carb cleaner and clean engine
then hack off any unwanted brackets or accessories
4 spray engine with aluminum paint
5 install new valve covers and air cleaner
6 install engine in vehicle
7 impress all your friends with your shiny, all aluminum (colored)
FE Cobra engine!
and tell them how much money you saved

Sorry, no dyno sheet or warranty but for 600 bucks, whatta ya expect!

Taking orders now!

(This offer void in all countries located in the Northern or Southern hemispheres)

That's actually a good price.
Valve covers and air cleaner bring the cost of
the engine down. You could keep the blades,
and even the paint (wonder if it would be considered
hazardous?).

Not a 361 so no steel crank, but I'm actually sort of
looking for a 3.5" stroke crank. Might be some meat in those cylinder walls. Hmmmmmmmm

Wait a minute now....

I think we need to see the dyno sheet on this aluminum (colored) engine of yours.

I dont want to be the victim of some inflated hype thay some have been accused of spreading.

I presume it has the torque to pull the skin off the top of a cup of pudding...

Sure it's got enough torque for the job.

1. Take the motor and previously mentioned cup of pudding to the top of a multi story carpark building.
2. Tie a rope around the aluminium (coloured) motor and place the motor on the edge of the parapet (it might pay to check no one is walking past on the street below).
3. Tie the other end of the rope around the pudding cup.
4. Push the aluminium (coloured) FE off the edge whilst firmly holding on to the pudding cup.
5. Get ready to feel the torque (Bracing your feet against the edge of the parapet might be a good idea. Maybe even get a friend to hang on to your belt too).

Cheers

HotHound - you'd be well advised to buy a banner ad, lest other aluminum (colored) engine sellers get a bit p!ssed by your posting style.

Mike - that's not a fair test of torque. I have a rope on the other side of the country, and I can't be sure that your rope has been correctly calibrated.

You've got a good point there Craig. I imagine you could get some quite rubbery figures, especialy if bungee cord was used.

Cheers

Question

Is the aluminum pain the high horsepower kind and how many horsepower will it add?

Mike,
According to a recently conducted Harvard study, engines painted with aluminum colored paint do show a remarkable weight lose, increase in horsepower but the down side is the incrediable "better then the others attitude" they assume.

Default Thank you for all the inquiries, but....

unfortunately, the sale of this great, all aluminum (colored) FE package has ended.
After intitial brisk sales I found that my supply ran out. Not of 360 FE engine cores but of cases of high temp aluminum spray paint!
I WILL NOT sulley my sterling reputation but selling these wonderful engine packages with inferior, non-high temp aluminum paint.
The last thing I want is one of my valued customers shreeking in horror after opening the hood of his prized posession at the local car show to find the inferior paint peeling off this powerhouse FE and leaving a trail of little paint flecks floating in the air behind his car!
With the profit I made from these monster engines I will be starting a new endevor;
All aluminum (colored) bodied Cobra replicas starting at just 5,999!!!
I found that the non-temp aluminum spray paint sticks really well to ummm, non-aluminum bodied Cobra replicas.
Once again you will be able to impress your friends and show off your all aluminum (colored) bodied Cobra at shows and brag about all the money you saved

--Mike
(This new offer will become available on the first day of the week not ending in the letter "Y")
