Default 390 fe Lunati cam selection ???

Hi
Can somebody recommend a good choice for a solid lifter camshaft from Lunati ?
I am building 390fe +.40 over, forged pistons, 10.0 compression, Edelbrock alum heads , 3.31 gears, C-6 ,no torque converter yet. I already have Lunati solid lifters so that is why I would like to check out their cam selection. Anyone using one of their cams?
Thanks a bunch.
Dave

Cam Research and Keith Craft are both very knowledgable about FE valvetrain components, and FE's in general. I consulted both when building my 428. You can contact Scott Main at Cam Research at (303) 762-0022, and you can contact Keith at Keith Craft at (870) 246-7460.

The "New" cans are predominately old UltraDyne grinds that were brought to Lunati by an old UltraDyne employee (at least that is the story and UltraDyne appears defunct)

As for personal experiance, I've got a 405A1 I hope to have running within the month.

For further cam reccomendations, we would need to know what you want from the engine. (IE: rough idle, high rpm power? You willing to buy a converter?)

Hey Robert
A torque converter is on the list, maybe around 2500-3000.
This Cobra will see mainly HP street use.
I looked at the Holley site. A 405A1 or 405A2 is looking good to me.
Thanks also Jared1970, I'll also contact Keith Craft

Funny, I just spent a month in Amarillo.

Summit Can get the 405A1 the part number is lun405a1lun. I'm sure that If you E-Mail them they can get the 405A2 as well. (that is what I had to do to get the 405A1)

I'm actually wondering if I should have gone with the A2 myself.
