Default FE distributor Gear ,How many teeth?
How many teeth on an FE distributor gear. I moved the distributor what I thought was one tooth .Now access to the hold down bolt is imcumbered by the mech tach drive.

If you have an extra cam count the teeth on it, they will be the same.
Use a stud and a nut instead of a bolt.

That works out to 24° per tooth .Wait a minute the crank turns twice to the distributor== 48°.I went from 12° atdc to 36° bftdc==48° I'll see how muuch sweep I can get with just moving the distributor.
