Default Measurement between valve covers on a 427

Would someone be so kind to measure between the valve covers of their 427 at the widest distance. I have the aluminum ones on mine. I am on the road and can't measure mine. Someone wants to know if it will fit in their car between the shock towers. Thank you...

Thanks john, what I am looking for is the widest distance across the engine at the top of the valve covers. In other words if I had it on an engine stand, complete with valve covers and wanted to move it through a door opening, how wide would the opening have to be?

As he said, it is 25" outside to outside of valve covers.
