Yup them were the dayz. Can you tell me what I'm seeing in your gallery shots of 094 and 095?

If you want to run tight clearances regardless of block material, cover you hinny by running oil that's on the light side, coated bearings and an Accusump to avoid dry-start problems. Lighter oil reduces pumping losses.
