Kevin, let me see what McLeod says on cost, etc. FWIW, I just located a stock unit for $62.12 with tax, outright. If it struggles to crank the beast and McLeod is too proud of their parts and/or labor I just may take you up on the offer!

Ken, I called Jeg's and it's $239. If you find it any cheaper, let me know bud. I'll want to be fair.

Ken,

In my part of Texas the only recognized endangered species is Democrats. ... and for the record, I didn't twist off that bolt, the wrench did.

Hey - did I just hijack this thread?

BTW - I've got a brand new hi-torque mini-starter that I couldn't seem to install properly. (What a surprise!) Powersomething?brand.

Rick

Rick, nah, I think I hijacked my own thread, you're just the getaway driver...
So, the "wrench" (wench?) made you do it? Pretty lame, sounds like a Texas excuse.
I looked at the Powermaster starters, they look pretty good. The girls had mentioned that you (and the rest of the Houston crowd) do seem to have problems "getting it in".

PS - don't exterminate all of them Democrats, some are okay (e.g., Zel Miller)...it's the LIBERALS we need to try to eradicate, but save at least one so we never forget the danger to the country that they represent!
