Sure, the red Locktite is just higher strength. I use it exclusively. If needed a little heat like from a propane torch for a moment will release the Locktite, but usually it is not needed, just a little additional effort. I just like the additional insurance of the "Red" Locktite. For that matter I use it on all chassis & engine fasteners except Rods, Mains, Head Studs/Bolts. Getting the screws out is not a concern.
