So is a Tunnel Wedge like a Tunnel Port except it has square ports? I noticed the Tunnel Wedge pictured above will also require a valley pan.

The 'valley pan' is just a flat piece of sheetmetal that's screwed onto the intake from the bottom.

nvr2muchpwr, the teardrop on your hood was originally made to clear a high riser setup. You might look into some ported Edelbrock or Blue Thunder heads, depending on your budget. You can make 650 hp or more with the right parts.

I had thought that Ford came out with the TP 2X4 spider intake first, then, came out with a similar version for MR heads, therefore calling the intake a tunnel wedge.
