Not sure if it does, but I would imagine that it would. The phenolic spacers are certainly someting to consider. Anything to reduce heat conducted to the carburetor body would be a good thing. I was provided with some unusually thick gaskets that I will initially use but I will be open to potential improvement which the spacers would appear to be, although I might be inclined to machine a groove on either side of the spacer for an "O" ring in lieu of using additional gaskets (??)
