Thanks for the replies.
There is some "slop" (play) in the stud/stand clearance, but not much. The stock bolt in this location has sort of an hourglass shape to allow oil up past it to the rockers. Upon looking closer, the Shelby piece apparently has enough clearance to allow for proper oiling. Just checking so I don't have a problem later on. I'll be sure to check oil pressure to ensure oil is getting up there. I think a lot of FE builders recommend what would seem to be extreme oil pressures (100 PSI +/-). Maybe one reason why.....
I agree, the system appears plenty sturdy. If it works as well as it looks, it'll be fine.
