You'll be much happier with the aluminum flywheel on the 482, I am!

While it's true on the aluminum flywheel's effect on leaving torque multiplication, it is really minimized with a big inch stroked FE. The pluses earned by the aluminum flywheel far exceed the minuses. People make these statements thinking about a 302.. NOT a big inch motor. You will be very pleased with the rapid spool-up the aluminum flywheel will give you.
