I went to a stroker 482 from Barry R. and the smaller hydro roller cam from crane the .587-.607" I have not had a chance to get the car on the dyno for the final tuneup but real numbers I am guessing is 470-480HP and 560-570ft of torque. I also have a KCR custom roller for my other motor,498 with a 633-633" lift. Hope to get this motor done over the summer. Here's the thing, IMO and if you have a hydro lifter block and the problems with the changes of the motor oil and needing additives, most motors of today are running roller lifters. I would tell you that this is the way to go, IMO. You didn't say what you where going to use the car for, cruising,shows, autocross, roadracing, sunday cruising??. 1 more note, I retard my cams 6 degrees, there is a 4 degree built into the camshaft, this makes for torque in the lower rpms and only gives up a little HP in the top end. Chaplin just got his motor back with a roller cam, send a private e-mail and ask about how he likes it now. Rick L.
