Stentor If you are running a 511 motor, there is no way the 48mm are going to supply enough air to a motor this big over 6,200 rpms. Camshaft also comes into question. If you have built an FE this big, save your money and get the 58mm TWM FI setup. You have to remember that just because Inglesis and Olberg say a number like 48mm doesn't mean the real number of what it can flow. The number stands for either the throttle body basic plate diameter, or the bore size of the throttle body itself. TWM have no chokes,or any thing in the bores of the throttle bodys like the other 2. Manifold is another issue with 58mm's carbs. There where a limited number of 58mm manifolds made, like 20-30. Rick Kirk may have one, big bucks. Dave S. is running a 482 motor, and it sings at 7,400 rpms. This is also a 10 year old motor, that at it's time of building has the best parts and info out there. The motor has had Dove issues, with Kuntz and Gessford machine fixing it. I know that there was $1,000.00 worth of jets, tubes, air horns, to get the 58 working to where they are now.
