canton oil filter adapter for fe

does any one know if the billet oil filter adapter made by canton is the more modern version with the larger passages?. just looking for information i already have it for my 445 stroker build.

does any one have any thoughts?, i looked on cantons site they dont say much about it. i know there was a larger passage version for the 427 but they are obsolete.

Yeah - its got the larger passages. Actually made by Doug Garifo at Precision Oil Pumps - an FE guy who knows his stuff about oiling. You might need to detail it to clear the upper seam on some oil filters - its pretty close and some rub there...

barry, thanks for the information. what oil filter is reccomended for the fe? i think on the ffr's you have to run the shorter filter because it is close to the frame.
