Ender2664,

You have made several posts dealing with basically the same question.....
What engine to choose?????

Excuse me if i missed your answers, but what's your budget for an engine?
Do u really care about fuel mileage??
What sound are u looking for? Do u want or care for a lumpy idle? This is a big deal to most cobras guys.
Carb Or EFI? A Good carburetor (Quick Fuel, Pro Systems) will equal or out perform an EFI in regards to power assuming u have it dialed in.
Big block or Small Block FE= Original but costly, other BBFs would work but probably overkill for your goals. SBF Windsor is cheaper to build and makes excellent power. Coyote has a different sound and not a lot of low end TQ, however it loves to rev.

My Preliminary thoughts on an engine choice:

A stroked 351 Windsor is your biggest bang for your buck. A 408CI Windsor or larger would accomplish what I believe to be is your objective. A Big inch SBF Windsor will make more TQ and more horsepower then a Coyote. I would go with aluminum heads, HYD roller and a factory block (can go up to 434CI). For your HP goals there is no need for an aftermarket block. Build the engine above your HP goals (I promise u will wish u did).

Take the time and call a few reputable engine builders. You will be money ahead if U buy a custom built engine over a FORD crate engine.
The following company’s stand behind their work, and will meet or exceed your expectations.

Jim Kuntz = Kuntz engines
Brent Lykins= Lykins motorsports
Keith Craft = Keith Craft Performance Engines
