I just caught this. Ok now it all makes sense. Everything would have to be set up from scratch and none of fords programming would be used. The Tweecer programming would be used, and I would have to fill in all the data.

Does the Tweecer and/or the software come with good instructions?

I am a process control guy buy trade and have programmed lots of processes with PLCs and other control systems. However I hate unfriendly software, and I want to understand the complete picture before I program anything. One of my faults, is obsesive perfectionist. I hate to monkey with it until it works. I want to understand both theory and real world, when I work on something. I like a scientific approach. I hate following someone who tinkered intil it worked, but had know idea or incorrect assumtions as to why it worked. **** like this always comes back to bite you when anything changes. I'm not intimidated by tuning it myself, but I'm still way too in the dark for my comfort.
