Default MI Fall Color Tour ?

Hi Everyone,
I have had a few inquiries about the Fall Color Tour for this year already.
Although I have thought about it I do not have anything firmed up.
I don't want the same old, and to lose anyone if we don't have to.
Heck I have enjoyed the last 4 years of planning this cruise and everyone that has joined us.

So I am trying to set up something for the Color Tour this year wether I am going to be here or not and am looking for some input.
We are looking at the 18th-20th of September.
I am trying to avoid some of the things that we have done already unless it is something that everyone is interested in.
Such as:
Do we stay in the Traverse City area? If so what things would you like to do.
A all winery tour, or what?
The TC area is nice because we have a bunch of guys in town and it makes it easier to schedule and determine where we are going to stop for certain things like gas and lunch and such.

Do we go to the other side of the state? If so, does anyone have any ideas on places to stay, or spots of interest for the cruise on Saturday?

Do we go farther south on the west side? Then again we need points of interest and places to stay.

So, what do you say? What do you think? What would you like to do?

Thanks,
Todd

I'm not in the GLCC, but I brought my SPF cobra up here(Leelanau county) for vacation. I would highly recommend an M22 tour if your doing a TC area tour. I ran it this afternoon, and the only issue would be the bridge may not be finished over Glen Lake, but bypass past the Sleeping Bear Dunes anyway. There's plenty of wineries, twisty roads, and sights. Another issue up here is the deer. They're everywhere.

Hey Ron,
Thanks for the input, that is a nice ride. We ran a section of it the first two years and then stopped in Fishtown for lunch. We had a blast. I am sure if things keep progressing along that we may run some of it again.

Default Fall Color Tour!!

Hi Todd, It's me, Marty Heller, here in Illinois, one of the directors of the Windy City Cobra Club. We met last year on the "color tour" and I'd like to talk to you about possibly meeting up again this year in Michigan. I would appreciate it if you would please email me at [sawadeedude@yahoo.com] with your email address and phone number so we can talk about it. Thank you in advance!

Marty,
Sent you an email but did not include my phone number. Just reply to the mail and then I will supply the phone also.
As stated in the mail I should have a finalized deal later today or tomorrow at the latest.
Any questions let me know.
Hope that a bunch of you can join us again this year.

Everyone,
I am being told that the weekend of the 18th - 20th is fully booked around TC there seems to be a soccer tournament in town and they are asking that we back up the dates. If I do back them up we would have to run on the Oct, 2nd-4th.
Any objections to going later?
Thanks,
Todd
