Took a road trip last month and used my E-ZPass the entire way without thinking twice. A week later, I checked my account to make sure everything was charged correctly, but one toll never showed up. Looked into
https://e-zpass.pissedconsumer.com/c...r-service.html to figure out if this was common. Some drivers mentioned that if a transponder doesn’t scan properly, the system might bill based on license plate recognition, which can take longer to process. Sure enough, the charge appeared later but at a higher rate. Since then, I always check my account a few days after traveling to make sure nothing is missing.
