I have been in and out of the S2 community since 2010 having owned 3 S2K's. Years ago, someone posted a very informative file of the number of S2Ks produced by year and by color and VIN number. At my age of 82, I have lost that posting and the great information. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me that link to that great information.

If you want to understand color options by model year, the easiest way is to check the factory data. A quick option is to use the window sticker by vin free from https://carfast.express/en/window_sticker . It will show you what colors were available for that year without having to dig through manuals.
