I just bought a set of like new ERA 427 side curtains. I had measured the distances for the pin fitment into the door side curtain post inserts and thought I had it perfect. Well, the posts are off just a hair and the curtain pins do not slide down to the door. I tried tweaking ever so slightly but that was not enough and also took the pins out of a perfect 90 degrees to the frame. Forcing them is not the answer, the frame pins should slide easily with little or no resistance. Any suggestions to correct this alignment problem would be greatly appreciated.
