From a bit of Google, it appears that the Fox mustangs had a fairly light spring rate in the rear, sometimes as low as 175lb. I started with 275lbs, and with proper adjustment and two full size male passengers it could't keep the body off the tires. I moved up to 375# which gives a very nice ride and good hookup but again, when I have two adult passengers the Michigan roads tend to cause points of rubbing. Also, to keep the 375s from rubbing, I had to raise the rear body another .75-1" away from the axle with adjustable coil over shocks. So now, I would like to get my 1" (or maybe even 1.5-1.75") back so the stance of the car appears more correct, yet find that nice spot between taking an oversized friend for a ride, and not breaking my tailbone.
