My rears were widened 1.5 inches but the original wheel opening height was not changed. The fronts were not modified. However I did adjust the rear suspension. I took one coil out of the stock 93 mustang coil spring. I also used a adjustable rear control arm to move the rear axle back .5inch. I have noticed that some SB's use a non adjustable control arm and the center of the rear axle is not in the center of the wheel well. Especially true due to geometry when the rear suspension is compressed. The .5 shift to the rear dramatically improved my clearances in the wheel well when under compression. If I had figured this out earlier I probably would never had to have widened the wheel well. But then again I have always loved big hips
