Hello All,
Looking online at -302 powered ac cobra- I looked at the video labeled 302 Cobra. It's a short video of someone operating the throttle linkage on a silver cobra. Not much action in that. However, I did notice a metal trim that surrounds the opening where the side exhaust exists the body. I'm interested in that trim. Does anyone know where to obtain them or are they a homemade item? Looking online, I read a discussion regarding the escutcheon plate trim surround for the body opening for side exhaust. It appears to be a homemade item mostly. One comment was a concern regarding heat transfer thru this metal (heat sink) into the body causing possible damage to the fiberglass. I wonder, has anyone experienced any heat damage in this area over time? My car is not yet on the road, so I do not know.

Hello Again,
Not receiving any replies, I decided to continue to search for this elusive part. I came across "aksportscars.co.uk" website. Nice cars. In the parts section, under exhaust, is listed their Exhaust Escutcheon Plates. They are designed for the multiple tube headers that extend out through the body cutout. My side pipes are a single round pipe at the body opening. I'll probably have to make my own plates some day, I like the look of them. Their plates have four sides, but I think three sides with the bottom open is how I'd go.

You can get in touch with shops that specialize in customizing or restoring AC Cobras. They might be able to provide you with information
autistic test
on where to buy or find the trim you're looking for. If you give them all the essential dimensions and information, they might also construct a special trim piece for you.

The metal trim you're referring to is called an "exhaust guard". It is a popular accessory for cars and motorcycles, and can be purchased at many auto accessory stores. You can also find them online at sites like Amazon, eBay, and Rockauto.

slice master
is a fast-paced arcade game where you wield a variety of blades to slice through fruit, navigate tricky obstacles, and rack up points! It's like a mix of fruit ninja and a skill-based platformer, with satisfying slicing mechanics and addictive gameplay.
